What should I expect and prepare for an animal communication session with Nami?

What to Expect

I offer a variety of animal communication services. The first time I communicate with the animal, I prefer to honor them and create a safe sacred space for them, so they are more comfortable with me sharing their personal information. I usually begin with introducing myself and letting the animal know who sent me to communicate. They become more comfortable if they know their guardian has sent me. I start with a positive question "what are your favorite things in life" or "tell me about yourself". My role is to listen, not to interrogate them.

Similarly, most people wouldn't like a stranger asking personal questions right away when they first meet. Animals are just like us in this regard. They prefer if we respect their boundaries and give them space. Once they feel safe and heard, they are more likely to share their thoughts and insights with their guardians and me.

During my consultation with your furry family member, I will have direct two-way communication with the pet. However, your animal does not need to be present at the time of consultation.

All of the information I receive from them are their view point, their perspective about the situation. We all work together to have a deeper understanding of each other or find better solutions about a situation or resolve each other’s misunderstanding. I can also prepare for very stressful upcoming events for your furry family members- a vet visit, a daycare, grooming etc.

I also offer distant Reiki energy work if I feel that it would be beneficial for your furry family member. In distant Reiki, the practitioner sends healing energy to the recipient through intention and visualization. Reiki is common in both human and animal medication. Reiki is an energy-based approach to healing that originated in ancient Tibetan Buddhist teachings. Reiki operates from the philosophy that physical and emotional impairments are linked to abnormalities of a person's energy or biofields.

I can also scan your animal’s body and sense where an animal may have discomfort or imbalance in their body. I may be able to suggest how you can address the situation to your primary care veterinarian, a veterinary specialist, or other helpful modalities, such as acupuncture, herbal medicine / holistic medicine, physical therapy, etc. My recommendations are based on my training in veterinary medicine and they are only suggestions. Animal communication is not a substitute for appropriate veterinary care.

How to prepare

Once you schedule an appointment, you will receive a consultation questionnaire. Please fill out and submit at least 24 hours prior to your appointment.

Your furry family member may not talk about your areas of concern unless you specifically ask about those concerns. So please make sure to write down questions or situations that are most important to you.

During a consultation, if something comes up in the communication and does not resonate with you or does not make sense to you, please let me know. I will check with your furry family member to clarify the information. As I receive information via images, pictures, color or shapes of objects , smells ,sounds , I may have misinterpreted their message when I translate into our human language; And also it sometimes needs to go deeper to understand their perspective so that you will understand clearly. Many times they share information that would not make sense to me but it always makes sense to you.

Also I suggest you write down information about a behavior problem or a health problem in detail when you think about the questions, if that is your concern that needs to have a deeper understanding from your furry family member.

If I just ask a question “ How do you feel ?” most animals would tell me “I am fine” but if I ask a question “ Where are you feeling pain the most ? How does your knee feel ? “ Then animals can give me more details about their feelings or their experiences; which may be different from your viewpoint . Just like how we carry on conversation with humans, the more detailed and specific questions you have been asked, you will likely be able to answer their questions in detail and precisely.

My work here is to listen , receive their messages clearly and deliver the messages from them to you vice versa.

I am not here to make decisions for you, fix situations by telling animals “not to do “ or “ make” your furry friend to do anything that they do not want to do. I also would not communicate with an animal who belongs to someone else without the permission of the animal guardians. In the case of rescue animals, I would ask for the permission of the person who is responsible for the care or custody of the animals.

I will not comment on a conversation that you had with another animal communicator as we all receive information very differently as individuals and animals will also decide what to share / what not to share depending on who they are communicating with. That is why I sometimes encourage people to hire multiple animal communicators to hear different perspectives of your furry animals.

I am here to facilitate a sacred space for you and your pets which allow both of you to be open and have a deeper connection with each other. I do not claim to be 100 % accurate and know everything.

I will be honest with what I can do and what I cannot do to help a situation. Just like us, humans, we would never understand each other 100 % even we speak the same languages. People perceive the same thing so differently. We choose to pick different aspects of a message to focus our attention based on our own experiences, cultures, and what is familiar to us. However ; through my communication, I can be a bridge to connect you to your furry family member to facilitate the deeper connection of each other.
